Urleben is a little village in Thüringen, Germany. Due to its
seclusion it preserved a certain rural charm that was moneyed away from
many other villages.

Urleben consists of Grossurleben and Kleinurleben (meaning large..
and small..) in spite of the fact that both parts are of approximately
the same size with about 250 inhabitants each.

Most of the houses in Urleben are half-timbered constructions.

The Strasse der Einheit (Unity Road) links Gross- and Kleinurleben
and had this name even in the times when Thüringen belonged to the
GDR.
